Stephen has acquired a diverse background of building techniques working in the scenic, display, commercial and residential industries. Through this work, he has developed his skills in carpentry, woodworking, metal fabrication, painting and finishing techniques. This experience and material knowledge allows him to apply unique solutions for each project.

Through his time the industry, Stephen has seen the extent of the building industry’s environmental impact. In his design and building practice, Stephen strives to reduce the impact of each project by using locally sourced sustainable materials, and building things that are meant to last, be multi functional, or be repurposed.
